Lithium-ion technology

Most modern devices, especially those for electric mobility, are typically equipped with lithium-ion batteries. They are lightweight, sometimes three times lighter than lead-acid batteries, and offer significantly greater battery life. Charging times can be extremely fast depending on the cells and the battery's overall architecture.

Chargers for lithium-ion batteries must be compatible with the battery voltage (12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 52V, 60V, 72V, 84V, etc.) and deliver the appropriate amperage depending on:

-Cell charge rate
-Charge rate accepted by the BMS
-Load rate accepted by cable sections
-Charge rate accepted by the charging connector

Lifepo4 technology

LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) batteries are renowned for their exceptional lifespan , thermal stability and reliability under intensive use . Heavier than conventional lithium-ion cells, they nevertheless offer maximum safety and withstand a large number of charge/discharge cycles .

Lead & AGM Technology

Lead-acid batteries (AGM or gel) are the oldest and most economical on the market. Although they are heavier and less efficient than lithium batteries, they are still used in some models of entry-level electric scooters, bicycles or scooters, or in industrial applications where reliability takes precedence over compactness.

They require specific chargers delivering a suitable constant voltage (often 24V or 36V), with a gentle charging curve to preserve the internal plates and avoid overcharging.
